About this book.

How do you give a learning community words for the growth that grades cannot fully describe?

Wonder Words is a thirty-week Christian devotional journey for educators, families, and communities seeking a shared language for whole-person formation. Each week centers one word within the biblical story and connects it with reflection, practice, questions, and prayer.

Across three movements—receiving God’s forming grace, practicing the way of Christ, and joining God’s renewing work—the journey attends to courage, wisdom, belonging, responsibility, service, calling, and more. These are not labels to attach to students or scores to assign to their spiritual lives. They are invitations to notice and respond with greater clarity and care.

Use the book for personal reflection or as the starting point for a shared weekly conversation. Book 3 of the seven-book Wayfinder Educational Architecture, Wonder Words develops Language for recognizing growth while keeping grace at the center.
