The Life We Are Given · Plan 03
Shared Care and Lasting Hope
The final three readings turn toward the responsibilities and communities through which care becomes visible. You will consider how worthwhile work can be shared, how a welcome can change the arrangements of a group, and how hope remains possible when an illness or loss continues. Christian hope rests in the risen Christ and God’s promised renewal. It gives us reason to attend to present needs while freeing us from the demand to produce a triumphant ending.
Offer work within honest limits, help communities make practical room for belonging, and receive Christian hope when the healing you desire remains incomplete.Read slowly. Return whenever you need.
